Connect to ParcVu
If you are using both ParcVu and BEX CMS with the sales module, you can connect the two to easily generate prospects out of interested website visitors and advertise ParcVu Vans for sale on your website.
Enter ParcVu data into CMS site settings
The first step is to make the technical connection between the two systems. If your CMS sales module is active, there are four ParcVu fields in your site settings that need to be filled. Ask your BEX onboarding specialist to help you get the correct IDs and tokens from ParcVu, or send an email to Customer Success.
Create a ParcVu form with form action for prospects
This allows you to place a form on your website asking visitors for the details needed to create a prospect in ParcVu, and then also automatically creating that prospect.
Go to your 'Forms' menu, under 'Content'. Click the 'New form' button and select the 'Send contact to ParcVu' template. This template already contains settings and fields based on the information that ParcVu needs to create a prospect. However, everything is still editable.

After you have checked and finalized your form fields, click the 'Actions' tab. You’ll see that the template already contains the form action 'Send to ParcVu'. If there is a red notification bubble, this means that the site settings mentioned above are not yet set up correctly.
Click the name of the action to edit it. Select the right park ID and source ID. For each field you have created in your form, you have to select a corresponding ParcVu field. This will ensure that the information will end up in the right places in your ParcVu prospects. Don’t forget to save your settings and check that the action is actually enabled.
The last step is to publish the form on your website.

Synchronize Vans for sale into CMS sales objects
This feature synchronizes your 'For Sale' and 'New' Vans as listed in ParcVu into CMS, so the available properties published on your website are always up-to-date.
How to synchronize
Go to 'Objects' in the Sales module in your CMS.
If ParcVu has been successfully connected via your site settings, you’ll find the button 'Sync from ParcVu' at the top op the page. Click it, and the synchronization will begin.
The synchronization is a background task, meaning that you can do other things while it is being completed. If the synchronization fails, you’ll see a notification of this in the menu on the left, underneath your profile information.
A nightly synchronization of configured sales objects will ensure that if any data is changed in ParcVu, this is also reflected in the corresponding CMS page. If you need to update in between, use the 'Sync from ParcVu' button.
After the initial synchronization, the Sales Objects overview will include your ParcVu offer, indicated as such with the tag 'ParcVu'. This tag can be used to filter the index page, which is useful if you also have sales objects that are not sourced from ParcVu.
Which details are synchronized and published?
Open one of your ParcVu sales objects by clicking on the name.
The read-only fields contain information that is directly synchronized from ParcVu, and is not editable in CMS. This includes the name and short description, as well as various Van type specifications, and the listed price.
In the 'Images' tab, you’ll find any photos that were synchronized from ParcVu.
Editing ParcVu sales objects in CMS
Open one of your ParcVu sales objects by clicking on the name.
The editable fields are manageable from CMS, and will still be empty after the initial synchronization. This includes the rich-text description, the For sale/sold status, publication dates, additional advertised price details and owner details.
If the status is changed to 'Sold' in ParcVu, the nightly synchronization will take the sales object in CMS offline. This ensures that Vans that are no longer available are not advertised any longer than needed.
Click the blue 'view page' button to preview the public sales object page.
