Setting up e-invoicing
Use BEX E-invoicing to be able to send e-invoices to business guests and corporate owners. Depending on the country in which you operate, this may be legally required.
BEX E-invoicing is an integration app that allows you to send e-invoices through the Peppol network. After setup, you can manage e-invoices directly from BEX PMS.

When is B2B e-invoicing required by law?
In Belgium, e-invoicing is legally required for B2B invoices from 1 January 2026. There is a grace period of three months, ending on 31 March 2026.
In France, B2B e-invoicing will become required for larger businesses on 1 September 2026, with SMEs following the next year.
In Spain, businesses with over β¬8M in revenue are expected to have e-invoicing by the end of 2026. Smaller businesses will then follow a year later.
In the Netherlands, B2B e-invoicing is encouraged but not legally required yet.
In Germany, e-invoicing is required for businesses with over β¬800k in revenue from 1 January 2027. All other businesses will follow from 1 January 2028.
What if you keep using email to send invoices in PDF format?
In cases where you should be legally required to use e-invoicing, it is still possible to use the 'Send by e-mail' option instead. However, you will be notified each time that this invoice is not compliant with regulations.
