Owner permissions: Make reservations and additional actions
The owner permission 'Make reservations' allows owners to book a stay at their own object, for their own use. There are several additional permissions that become available once making reservations is allowed.
Make reservations
The owner permission 'Make reservations' allows owners to book a stay at their own object, for their own use. They can do this in their owner portal.
A reservation an owner makes for themselves is not the same as a booking made via an owner’s promotional link.

When you select this permission in an owner profile, a list of additional permissions drops down. These additional permissions allow you to further elaborate what kind of reservations an owner is allowed to make.
Reservation outside regular priced periods
This allows the owner to make a reservation for their own use, even if the dates of their stay do not yet have an active price list. In practice, this applies to owner reservations made for dates far into the future.
For this to work as intended, the owner agreement needs to state that the owner always receives a 100% discount on their stay. Because if the owner does not receive a 100% discount, there should still be a price to be charged; which is not possible if there is no active price list.

Reservation outside arrival and departure schemes
This allows the owner to make a reservation for their own use, even if the dates of their stay do not align with the arrival and departure scheme that applies to their object.
Cancel a reservation before the arrival date
This allows the owner to cancel any reservations for their own use, as long as it is before the arrival date.
Assigning owner permissions
Assigning these permissions is only possible through an owner profile. When creating or editing an owner agreement, you can add an owner profile to apply to that owner.
