You can send emails like booking confirmations, auto emails and email campaigns from both the BEX PMS and CMS. You can customise the email address from which these emails are sent.
By default, emails from the PMS are sent from noreply@bookingexperts.nl. You can replace this with your own email address, e.g. info@park.com.
Setting up communication by email
To enable the PMS and CMS to send emails from your domain, you need to verify your email domain and thus configure your DNS records. The verification process is important to ensure the safety of email communication and prevent your emails from being regarded as spam.
Avoiding spam when sending email campaigns and auto emails
Before verifying your domain, you need to enable email delivery. Go to domains in the organisation settings and click on the respective domain.
If we manage your domain, you don’t have to do anything. Email delivery will be automatically enabled and we take care of the rest.
If you manage your domain, first make sure that email delivery is enabled. Then click on ‘DNS status’, where you can see the expected DNS settings. You need to add these records. You can do so with your current domain administrator or share the status page with the IT person responsible.
Enabling email delivery can take up to 72 hours. There is currently no way to make it go faster.
