Blocking objects

Objects can be blocked from being rented out for a limited period of time, for example, due to maintenance.

To make an object unavailable for a longer or indefinite time, you can remove an object from active rent entirely.

Blocking an individual object

Open the relevant object from the objects index in the Setup module. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and choose 'New blocked period'. Enter the correct dates, the blockade type if needed, and optionally a memo.
The memo is useful, for example, if you want to specify the maintenance work being done.

After adding a blocked period, you can see it in the availability calendar at the bottom left of the object page.

Blocking through the planboard

Objects can also be blocked through the Planboard. Go to the Planboard, and select the dates you want to block for an object. In the pop-up screen, choose 'Block' to block this object. Choose 'Block multiple' if you want to simultaneously block multiple objects of this type.

Block placed by an owner

Via the owner portal, owners can also create and edit blocks on their own object. For this, the owner must have an owner profile with the 'edit calendar' permission.
