Owner profiles are a predetermined set of permissions and periodic costs that can be assigned to an owner when creating an agreement for an object. This allows you to simplify owner management for your employees, and reduces mistakes that result in agreements with the wrong access rights or charges.
Creating an owner profile
Navigate to the owner tab, and you'll find 'owner profiles' in the menu on the right. Here, you can create one or more owner profiles. The permissions that can be set in an owner profile are the same rights that previously needed to be set individually per agreement. These permissions vary from access to certain data, to rights that allow owners to perform certain actions.
Assign permissions
When assigning certain permissions, you'll notice that additional ones appear. These additional permissions are optional extensions of the higher-level permission. These can only be added to the owner profile if the higher-level permission is ticked first.
Give your owner profiles a clear name; e.g. based on the type of agreement that exists between the owner and the park. Profile names such as "Investor", "Flexible rental" or "Self-managed" can clearly indicate the underlying permissions.
When creating an owner agreement for an object, permissions such as 'can view bookings' or 'can make reservations' can only be assigned to the owner through an owner profile.
Add periodic costs
By adding periodic costs to an owner profile, you make sure all owners with this profile are charged accordingly. You can also set a custom price per owner profile.
You might have periodic costs attached to individual agreements. If you add a periodic cost to an owner profile, this same periodic cost will be removed from any agreements with this owner profile. This is to prevent a double charge.
You cannot add a periodic cost to an owner profile if one of the agreements already connected to this owner profile contains this periodic cost with a custom price.
First remove the custom price in the relevant agreement, then you can try to add it again. Doublecheck that all agreements with this owner profile should be charged the same; if not, you can still add the periodic cost to an individual agreement instead.
Editing an owner profile
An owner profile can be edited and changed.
Note: any changes made in an owner profile apply to all owners that have an agreement with this same owner profile!
If you want to give a specific owner a new permission, you have three ways of doing so:
You edit the owner profile (the change applies to all owners under this profile)
You indicate a different owner profile for this agreement (the owner switches to another profile)
You create an entirely new owner profile with the appropriate permissions and periodic costs
