When an object is sold, the new owner must be linked to the object via an owner's agreement. This is necessary to apply the agreement made between you and the owner, i.e. to be able to create invoices and pay settlements through the PMS.
If another owner is currently linked to the object and the transfer to the new owner happens on a specific day, you have to take a few things into account like periodic costs, invoices that prevent the owner from being linked and ending the old owner’s agreement. Create a new owner's agreement
Go to to objects in the setup module. You can, for example, search for the right object via the search bar. Once found, click on the object you want to link an owner to.
Once you have opened the object, go to the 'Owners' tab and click on '+New agreement'.
Starting date and commission agreement
Enter a starting date and select the right owner via the dropdown. Select the appropriate commission agreement.

Owner profile
The next step is to choose the applicable owner profile. The owner profile determines which owner permissions the owner gets via the owner's portal.

Periodic costs
Then tick the periodic costs applicable to this owner.

Periodic costs have a default price, but you can enter a custom price, if required. Set the custom price at zero if the owner doesn’t have to pay for this periodic cost.
Own stay
If applicable, specify the discount percentage the owner is allowed to receive on own stays.
Taxes
If the owner is exempt from tourist tax or pays for their tourist tax annually as a lump sum to the government, check the respective box. When ticked, cost items of the type ‘tourist tax’ will not be applied to reservations of the owner themself. Here you also indicate whether the owner and/or their object are reportable under the DAC7 directive.
The newly created agreement can also be found in the agreements overview in the owners module.
Edit and delete an owner's agreement
You can delete or edit an owner’s agreement if no invoices are linked to it yet. To do so, click on the start date of the agreement in the agreements overview.
End an owner’s agreement
It’s also possible to set an end date for an owner agreement, meaning that you don’t have to create a new agreement to end one. This further enables an object to be without an agreement in between agreements.
