Go to the amenities in the organisation settings of your PMS and click on ‘+New’ to add a new amenity and name it. If you work in several languages, you can click on the flag to add a translation for each language. Next, link the appropriate channel amenity to enable channels to recognize the amenity. Is the linked channel amenity you need not listed? Choose ‘Other’. Then choose the amenity group the amenity belongs to as well as the type of the amenity.

Types of amenities

Amenities can be divided into three types:

• Yes/No: These amenities are either present, or not present.

• Numerical: You have to specify a number when adding this amenity to a type or object. This could be the number of bedrooms, for instance. The amenity is 'bedrooms', and each time you apply it to a type or object you have to specify how many.

• Multiple choice: You can enter multiple choice options. When you add this amenity, you can then select the option you need. The options for the amenity ‘bed’ can, for example, be single bed, double bed etc.
