For each type, set whether you want to allow reservations to be made on the same day as the check-in. By accepting reservations until the date of arrival, it is possible to boost revenue.
This setting applies to your own website, not to other channels.
Accepting reservations for today
Go to 'Types' in the setup module, and open and edit the relevant type. Scroll down to the 'Availability' section, and you will find the checkbox 'Accept same day bookings'. Enable it, and then enter the deadline for reservations on the same day. By setting the deadline at 13:00 for example, you can ensure that there is still time to check whether the booked objects are ready for guests.
Don’t forget to save the changes before exiting the page.
When a guest makes a same-day reservation through your website, you will receive a notification of this in your reception messages inbox, as well as an email to the main email address set in the administration settings.
For newly created types, the default setting is copied from the most recently created type in the same segment.
