How to set up and recognize a late check-out

Whether or not a late checkout is allowed, is determined in the settings of the booked type.

Allowing late check-out

For each type, you can decide whether you allow late check-outs and until what time guests can check-out if they book a late check-out. Go to 'types' and open and edit the relevant type. In the 'House rules' section you will find the checkbox for late check-outs. When checking the box to allow a late check-out, you need to enter a deviating check-out time. You’ll also see an additional checkbox that needs to be checked if you want guests to be able to select a late checkout when booking. If left unchecked, a late check-out can only be added by employees.

Adding late check-out to a reservation

Open the relevant reservation. Click on the button with the three dots in the 'Reservation' block. This opens a dropdown where you can select 'late check-out', which will then be added to the reservation. This also blocks the night after the late check-out for any new reservations.

If there is another reservation waiting to check in on the same date, it will not be possible to add the late check-out to the reservation.

Checking for reservations with late check-outs

Reservations with late check-outs are indicated as such in the planboard, the reservation overview, and in the reservation itself. In the reservation overview and the reservation itself this is shown by means of a label. In the planboard, you will see that the reservation is extended with an additional day in a faded color, blocking the night after the check-out.
