The object setup is the combination of type, pet status, and object-specific amenities. This comes in handy if you are going to renovate a certain object, or otherwise give it an upgrade.
For changes that apply to all objects within a type, it is better to edit the type instead.
Navigate to the object that you want to edit, and open the ‘setup’ tab. Here you can choose to edit the current setup, or add a completely new one.
For small changes that are immediately applicable, it is recommended to edit the current setup; click on the bold 'active from' date, make your adjustment, and click 'Save'.
For large changes that will affect bookings on this object in the medium or long term, it is recommended to add a new setup. In this case, you choose a new 'active from' date. On this date, the old setup automatically becomes invalid. When new reservations are booked, the system will also take into account the new setup that will be valid in the future.
Error message: 'There are reservations outside the setup period'. You will see this message if there are reservations outside the object's active period. In most cases, this is due to imported reservations with a date in the past. To fix the error, move the 'active from' date of the current setup to a date before the first reservation.
