Booking portal settings

With your booking portal settings you determine which information you ask of your guests when they are booking a stay through your website.

Go to Brands and portals in your PMS organization settings, and open the tab 'Portal settings'.

Input fields

The default settings include the details presented in the Booker details section of a reservation. By selecting 'Override default settings', you can ask for additional information or even exclude some of the details that are normally part of the default.

'Email address' is listed without a checkbox, because this input field is mandatory.

Contact methods

This is your contact information, available to the guest via the 'Need help' button as they are booking on your website. You can choose to display your phone number and/or email address.

License plates

You can use this option to ask your guests to enter their car’s license plates during the booking process. This only works if you use the license plate module.
License plate module

If you do use the license plate module, but do not check this box, your guests can still provide their license plates after they have finished booking. They will receive an email asking them to enter the plate numbers via the customer portal.
