Media in CMS - Adding a video

If you want to add a video to your website, you can do this via a YouTube or Vimeo widget, or via a Video section.

YouTube widget

If you add a widget to the place where you want to display the video, choose the YouTube video widget from the widget list. You will find this under the Media widgets.

You can give the video a header if you want. Under Settings, enter the ID of the YouTube video. This is the part of the YouTube URL after https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=. With 'Play automatically', the video plays as soon as the page is opened. You can also determine the size and optionally allow related videos once your own video has finished playing.

Vimeo widget

If you add a widget to the place where you want to display the video, choose the Vimeo video widget from the widget list. You will find this under the Media widgets.

You can give the video a header if you want. Under Settings, enter the ID of the Vimeo video. This is the part of the Vimeo URL after https://vimeo.com/. With 'Play automatically', the video plays as soon as the page is opened. You can also determine the size in which your video is displayed.

Video section

A Video section works differently than a widget. A video that you want to display in a section must first be added to your CMS via 'Videos', under 'Content'.

To add a video to your CMS here, you always need a Vimeo URL.

On your page, add a Video section by clicking on '+Section' and choosing 'Video'. Under Settings, select the correct video that you previously added to your CMS. This video can be displayed page-wide.

You can optionally place a sticker or search function over this video. A sticker is a visual element with text and/or an image, which can also contain a button that links to another page. With the 'Availability' search function, you can place a Search & Book over your video.
