Deleting an object

To permanently delete an object, either select one or more objects from the overview and click the 'Delete' button, or open an individual object and use the 'Archive' button. However, there are a few requirements before this is possible.

  • Go to the object overview, and select one or more objects in the list. Bulk options will appear at the top of the list, that you can use to delete all selected objects.

  • Open an individual object, and click the 'Archive' button in the object details.

Requirements for deleting or archiving an object

The object cannot have any future reservations.

Move all existing reservations for this object to a different object, and create a block to avoid any new reservations from being made. Edit the object to do this.

The object cannot have an active setup.

Once the object does not have any future reservations anymore, you can remove it from active rent by ending the current object setup without adding a new one.

The object cannot be part of an active owner agreement.

In the same object page, check the 'Agreements' block for agreements. The end date of any agreement shown must be in the past.

The object cannot have future tasks assigned to it.

Any unfinished tasks related to this object must be deleted or finished. From the object page, click the ellipsis button (top right), and select 'Todos'. This will take you to an overview of all todos for this object in the Todos module. Use the checkbox at the top of the list to easily finish or delete all todos of this object.

Archiving/deleting an object cannot be undone. The historic data for this object will however still be used for statistics.

If you delete an object outside the minimum purchase, the costs for that object will still be charged for 3 months after the calendar month in which the object was archived/deleted.
