Creating a package

When creating a new package, you must first choose which type of package you want to create. Then you fill out the package settings. There are various components that may require special attention.
Types of packages

If similar packages already exist in your system, you can also choose to copy a package and adjust it.

Checkboxes below the package description

Guests should explicitly confirm the terms mentioned in the description. Useful if the description mentions that the package includes non-refundable costs, for instance.

Show costs that are part of this package to the guest in the search & book (frontoffice). If checked, guests can see which cost items are included. If unchecked, guests will only see the package name.

Cancellation insurance, include in the cancellation insurance export. Check this option if your package includes cancellation insurance.

Period

Here, you specify when the package can be booked, and when it can be used. Read more about Availability of a package

Composition

Discount on rent

Enter the discount percentage you want to offer, and the minimum/maximum length of stay for which this package is valid. Leave the discount percentage at 0.0 to create a package without any discount on the rent.

Editing, copying or archiving a package

An existing package is always editable. Simply navigate to the package you wish to edit via the overview page, and click the edit button in the top right corner. In the edit page, you will then also see the buttons 'Copy' and 'Archive'. After copying a package, you can edit the new package before saving it. Archiving a package will delete it for any new reservations, and cannot be undone.

After copying a package, it is not possible to change the type of package.
