Placing a blocked period on an object

Objects can be blocked from being rented out for a limited period of time, for example, due to maintenance.

To make an object unavailable for a long or indefinite time, you can make an object entirely unavailable for rent.

Blocking via object page

Open the relevant object from the objects index in the Setup module. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and choose 'New blocked period'. Enter the correct dates, the type of blocked period if needed, and optionally a memo.
The memo is useful, for example, if you want to specify the maintenance work being done.

Blocking via planboard

Go to the Planboard, and select the dates you want to block for an object. In the pop-up screen, choose 'Block' to block this object. Choose 'Block multiple' if you want to simultaneously block multiple objects of this type.

Block placed by an owner

If an owner has the right permissions, they can place blocked periods themselves via the owner portal. Of course, this only applies to their own objects.
