You remove an unused type from your system by archiving it. Deleting it entirely is not possible due to past reservations that are linked to this type.
You can only archive a type when there are no longer any active objects linked to it. Make sure to link the objects to another type or remove them from active rent.
Disconnecting objects from a type
You can do this in two ways. Firstly, you can transfer an object to another type: edit the setup of an object and choose a different type. Leave the active date as it is so that the change takes effect immediately.

Secondly, you can (temporarily) remove the object from active rent. This means that you set the object to inactive by giving the object setup an end date without adding a new setup.

When archiving a cluster type, remember to also disconnect the virtual object. This is done in the same way as described above.
Archiving the type
Once all objects have been disconnected, you can archive the type by opening it via 'Types' and then using the 'archive' button.
