You can share the availability of objects with another (external) calendar via iCal. For each object, you paste a unique link into the external calendar, and vice versa. The synchronization is updated by the system every 15 minutes.
Export availability of an object
Look up the object for which you want to set up iCal. Go to the 'iCal' tab. Here you will see the export link. You can copy it and share it with the person who needs the link.
Import availability into an object calendar
Look up the object for which you want to set up iCal. Go to the 'iCal' tab. Click on '+New iCal channel'. Give the iCal channel a name and fill in the external iCal URL. Select the channel you wish to connect the reservations to. Then click on 'Add iCal channel'.
Add domain
You must also select at least one domain. Open the created iCal channel of the object, check the domain, and click 'Update iCal channel'.
Importing iCal blocks
iCal blocks periods to reserve space for reservations. Import the periods blocked by iCal by clicking on 'Import now'. Here you will see how many periods have been imported and if there are any conflicts in the planboard. To process the conflicts, click on the conflict number.
When reservations cause a conflict, you will receive a reception message about it. You can adjust these reservations directly by clicking on 'Solve' in the reception message. Read more: iCal notifications
Converting an iCal block into a reservation
Click on the blocked iCal period in the planboard or in the calendar of the object. You can then click 'Convert to reservation'. You have to enter the name, address, and city (contact details) of the guest yourself, and confirm the reservation.
