Adding a video using a widget or section

If you want to add a video to your CMS website, you can do this via a YouTube, Vimeo, or Bunny widget, or via a larger Video section.

YouTube widget

Add a widget where you want to display the video, and select the YouTube video widget from the widget list. You will find it under the Media widgets.

  • Give the video a header if you want.

  • Under Settings, enter the ID of the YouTube video. This is the part of the YouTube URL after https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=.

  • With 'Play automatically', the video plays as soon as the page is opened.

  • Also determine the size in which your video is displayed.

  • Optionally, allow related videos to be suggested once your own video has finished playing.

Vimeo widget

Add a widget where you want to display the video, and select the Vimeo video widget from the widget list. You will find it under the Media widgets.

  • Give the video a header if you want.

  • Under Settings, enter the ID of the Vimeo video. This is the part of the Vimeo URL after https://vimeo.com/.

  • With 'Play automatically', the video plays as soon as the page is opened.

  • Also determine the size in which your video is displayed.

Bunny widget

Add a widget where you want to display the video, and select the Bunny video widget from the widget list. You will find it under the Media widgets.

  • Give the video a header if you want.

  • Under Settings, enter the ID of the Bunny video. This ID can be copied from the relevant video in the Bunny.net library.

  • With 'Play automatically', the video plays as soon as the page is opened.

  • Also determine the size in which your video is displayed.

Video section

A Video section works differently than a widget. A video that you want to display in a section must first be added to your CMS via 'Videos', under 'Content'.

To add a video to your CMS, you need either a Bunny or Vimeo video URL.

  • On the intended page, add a Video section by clicking on '+Section' and choosing 'Video'.

  • Under Settings, select the correct video that you have added to your CMS. The video is shown page-wide.

  • Optionally, place a sticker or search bar over this video.
    - A sticker is a visual element with text and/or an image, which can also contain a button that links to another page.
    - With the search variant, you can place a Search & Book over your video.

  • The visibility settings are the same as for other sections and widgets.
