Submitting a DAC7 report via Digipoort

To submit a DAC7 report to the Dutch Tax Administration, you likely use Digipoort. Our DAC7 Digipoort Connector app allows you to upload a DAC7 report directly from your PMS to Digipoort, the Tax Administration’s electronic post office.

First, ensure that the DAC7 Connector NL app has been installed and connected for your administration.

How to upload a report via Digipoort

  1. Navigate to the (fully checked) DAC7 report you want to upload.

Read more: Creating and checking a DAC7 report

  2. Ensure the report’s status, visible in the 'Report data' block, is 'Checked'.

  3. Click the 'Apps' button in the top right next to ‘Change status’. Select 'Send to Tax Administration'.

  4. Wait or refresh the page to see that the report has been sent. The upload process runs in the background and may take several minutes.

  5. Click the same 'Apps' button again, now select 'Show status'. This will confirm whether the Tax Administration has received your report, and whether it has been (partially) rejected or not.

Status codes:
110: Submission received and being processed
220: Content accepted and validated
400: Submission successfully accepted
Other codes: Indicate errors or rejection from the tax authority

If a report is rejected by the Tax Administration

  1. Click the 'Apps' button in the top right of the DAC7 report, and select select 'DAC7 Connector NL: Show status'. This will show you the feedback containing the errors detected.

For example: if owner information is incorrect, the names of the faulty owners will be listed.

  1. Go back to the owner or object pages and rectify the information.

Read more about data requirements: DAC7: What is it and which data is required?

  2. Create a correction report from the original report page via the blue ‘Create correction report’ button. This correction report has a version reference for the Tax Administration. Do not correct your original report, because the lack of reference will cause it to be rejected.

Contact the Tax Administration if you still have questions about why your report was rejected and how to amend it.
