Inventory management in cost items

Costs for items that are limited in number can be set up for stock management. This helps you keep track of demand and allows you to stop selling as soon as stock has run out. You'll also receive a reception message when inventory runs out.

Note that this is only available for add-ons that have a calculation method that is either 'per piece', 'per piece per day', or 'per stay'.

Setting up stock management

  1. Open the add-on from the cost overview.

  2. Open the pricing settings by clicking on the settings icon in the pricing summary.

  3. Under 'stock', enter the total number of items you have.

  4. If desired, check the box to stop selling when no stock is available.

  5. Enter a maximum number of items that can be booked by a single reservation.

  6. Save the settings.

  • BEX PMS will keep track of how many items are booked when, based on the reservation arrival and departure dates.

  • It is possible to keep selling after stock has run out. In that case, you will receive a reception message letting you know for which dates you will need to increase your stock.

Keeping track of stock levels

Open the relevant cost item from the costs overview by clicking on the name. This page contains a graph showing the current total stock and demand levels for the next thirty days.
