Type groups are several of your types, grouped under a single name. Type groups can be used to easily apply costs, discounts or auto-emails to several of your types at once. Type groups are also useful for your statistics.

For each type, set whether you want to allow reservations to be made on the same day as the check-in. By accepting reservations until the date of arrival, it is possible to boost revenue.

You remove an unused type from your system by archiving it. Deleting it entirely is not possible due to past reservations that are linked to this type.

How to create a new object for an existing type

Creating a new object

The object setup is the combination of type, pet status, and object-specific amenities. This comes in handy if you are going to renovate a certain object, or otherwise give it an upgrade.

Per object, you can decide its priority - high, medium or low - in terms of new reservations. This priority can affect how reservations are distributed across your objects and planboard.

A cluster is a combination of two (or more) existing objects, rented out together as a single unit. Clusters make it easy to rent objects out both separately and together.

An object label can quickly highlight features or amenities of a property. Use them to filter objects in the planboard, or to create custom overviews for exports.

In BEX PMS, you can provide each of your objects with an energy label. This information is shown to your guests when booking through your website.

If you want an object to no longer be available for rent, you can temporarily or permanently remove it from the listed objects.

To permanently delete an object, either select one or more objects from the overview and click the 'Delete' button, or open an individual object and use the 'Archive' button. However, there are a few requirements before this is possible.

Arrival and departure schemes are used to control on which days your guests can check in or check out, for each type. This can be applied to enforce certain LOS, temporarily block availability altogether, or simply control which days are busiest for your reception and cleaning staff.

Blocked periods

By blocking an object from being bookable through any channel, you can make sure no new reservations come in for this object. This means all availability for this particular object will be blocked.

The user role connected to your account determines how you interact with BEX PMS. For BEX CMS, there is only one user role.

The Planboard is the main tool for receptionists. From here, current and future reservations can easily be managed.

During onboarding, you connect or register your domain(s) to ensure that your BEX PMS works correctly. You might also add a new domain when opening a new park, for example.

It is possible to make predefined holidays and bank holidays visible on your website, so guests can click on them or more easily search for availability, for example, during the Christmas period.

For each administration separately, financial records can be locked and closed for accounting purposes. In your organization settings, you can prevent them from being reopened across your administrations.

Special periods are used in statistics, price lists, and the Search & Book. Examples of special periods are the often-booked getaways around public holidays, local events or school holidays.

Special periods are arrival/departure date ranges that are important to your organization, and that can be applied throughout your administrations.

A label alerts the user to important matters concerning the various modules and data within the PMS. For example, you could give the label 'loyal guest' to guests who have stayed for the fourth time, or the label 'renovated' to objects that have been refurbished. You can create these labels yourself and give them a desired colour and emoji.
