BEX CMS — Recap of August 2026

Settings centralized in PMS brands, new UK/US locales, action logging, and video widget updates.

Google Maps API key management moved to PMS

The Google Maps API key configuration is now centrally managed within PMS Brands. This ensures consistent map functionality across every integrated platform, including all CMS sites. Administrators no longer need to enter or update the key separately within the CMS settings.

Google Tag Manager configuration moved to PMS

Google Tag Manager settings are now managed directly within PMS Brands. Eliminating separate CMS inputs establishes a single source of truth for tracking parameters. Centralizing these controls maintains unified web tracking across all digital channels, including CMS sites.

Ability to choose between UK or US English

The CMS now provides distinct UK English and US English language selections. Platform administrators can choose which best suits their site content. These options replace the previous generic English setting to support localized content strategies.

Enhanced site activity logging with Last actions

The new Last actions page, located in the CMS management menu, tracks user modifications across site settings, pages, and subsites. The detailed log records who performed each update along with the exact time of the action. Clear visibility into historical updates improves operational context, team collaboration, and overall accountability.

Streamlined video management in BEX video widgets

BEX video widgets now utilize a centralized dropdown menu linked directly to your video library. Selecting assets from the library eliminates manual ID entries, and the system also prevents accidental deletion of active videos.

BEX CMS — Recap of July 2026

SEO page settings, BEX video provider, cookie consent in PMS, and searchable form responses.

Separate tab for SEO settings in pages

When editing pages, the settings that are relevant for SEO are now separated into a dedicated tab. Easily manage titles, meta descriptions, search indexing, and URL overwrites for individual pages.

Default video provider set to BEX Video

Booking Experts now defaults to BEX Video when you upload a video to display. The feature name also replaces older references to clarify internal integration solutions.

Cookie consent management moved to PMS

Cookie consent settings have moved to PMS brand settings, for central management across all connected websites.

Enhanced Search & Book widget compatibility and display

The Search & Book widget operates seamlessly with the updated search engine. Search results cleanly display types with fewer than four images without layout distortions from vertical pictures. The engine also tracks list view events for better analytical tracking.

Searchable multi-select filter for form responses

The form response page includes a searchable multi-select dropdown grouped by active status. Filter the replies submitted to your forms across multiple forms at once and search directly inside response fields.

Excluding long-term segments from synchronization

Segments covering sites for very long-term rental, i.e. year sites, are now excluded from synchronization to CMS. This cleans up segment filter lists and type pages are not generated unnecessarily.

BEX CMS — Recap of June 2026

About central language tools in campaigns, grid image displays, and Bunny.net videos in sales pages.

Campaign message language updates

Campaign messages now utilize the central language tool for smoother management. Related message components are grouped together to simplify your translation process. The system also displays a warning if any translations are missing before you send it.

Grid display of images in image set widget

The Image Set widget now includes a grid display variant. Users can configure the specific number of columns and set a maximum height. Try it out when customizing image presentations across your website.

Sales listing pages support bunny.net videos

Pages for sales objects in CMS now support video hosting directly through Bunny.net to improve loading performance. This infrastructure update enables a more integrated and efficient way to manage media content. The platform will automatically handle the video updates without requiring new user-facing settings.
