Using multiple currencies
You can set different currencies in BEX PMS based on your own needs. During onboarding, you and the Booking Experts team determine which currencies are necessary for your park to operate.
You can, of course, also add a currency at a later point in time, for example, when you open a new park in another country.
Setting up multiple currencies
Go to your administration settings, and then to the last item in the list, βAdminβ.
In the section titled 'Localization' you can determine an internal currency as well as the currencies a guest can use.
Currently, BEX PMS supports the following currencies: EUR, USD, CHF, CZK, TRY, CVE, XCG, GBP, NOK, DKK, and ZAR.
Internal currency
This is the currency your organization and backoffice are using. It is a good idea to align it with the default language.
Currencies a guest can use
Check the boxes for the currencies you want to make available to guests for payments. This allows your guests to pay in the currency they know and prefer.
BEX PMS will automatically convert the invoices and orders of a reservation to the currency chosen by the guest. The guest will always receive their invoice in their preferred currency.
Exchange rates
If you work with multiple currencies, the exchange rates are automatically updated and applied every night. However, it is also possible to manually adjust an exchange rate.
