Editing object setups
The object setup is the combination of type, pet status, and object-specific amenities. These are the object settings that often influence pricing when changed; planning these changes in a new object setup helps you ensure that bookings will continue to be priced correctly.
For changes that apply to all objects within a type, it is better to edit the type instead.
Update the start and end dates of multiple object setups
Go to the object overview and select one or more objects in the list. Bulk options will appear at the top of the list, that you can use to either change the end dates or change the start dates of the setups of all selected objects.
Individual changes to object setups
Open the object that you want to edit. At the top right, you’ll see this object’s setups. You can choose to edit the current setup, or add a completely new one.
Editing current setup: For small changes that are immediately applicable; click on the bold 'active from' date to start editing. Click 'Save' when you are done.
Change the active dates, type, pet status, or amenities that are specific to this object.
Add a new setup: For large changes that will affect bookings on this object in the medium or long term. Recommended when planning an amenity upgrade that will also affect the rental price.
Click the 'New setup' button.
Add a new 'active from' date. On this date, the currently active setup will automatically be replaced by this new one.
Add the applicable type, pet status, and object-specific amenities.
Error message: 'There are reservations outside the setup period'.
You will see this message if there are reservations outside the object's active period. In most cases, this is due to imported reservations with a date in the past. To fix the error, move the 'active from' date of the current setup to a date before the first reservation.
