Allotments

Allotments are used to control the amount of objects per type that can be rented out through a specific channel, without limiting the advertised types through that channel.

Allotments are part of your administration settings.
This feature is currently limited to either closed (no objects of this type can be booked through this channel) or exclusive (objects of this type can only be booked through this channel, regardless of visibility on other channels).

Booking Experts is working to create a better, more flexible way to manage restrictions on channel availability. It is expected that your existing allotments will be seamlessly transferred to this new feature in May 2026.

New allotment

Go to Allotments in your administration settings. Click the '+new allotment' button.

Select the channel this allotment should apply to.
Select the type for which you want to apply the allotment.
Select the date range for which this allotment is valid. This allows you to apply allotments according to season.
Select either closed (no objects of this type can be booked through this channel) or exclusive (objects of this type can only be booked through this channel).
