Installing an app from the BEX App Store

For many apps, the installation process is similar and straightforward. Especially if the details of the connection are handled by a channel manager like Qenner, or by the partner company that you want to integrate with your PMS.

How to install an app

Once logged into BEX PMS, go to the App Store in the light green menu bar. To do this, click on the market stall icon. Type the name of the app that you want to install in the search bar, and click the appropriate result.

You are now on the app's detail page. Click the green '+Install' button to install the app. In the next screen, you can see exactly what information is read and sent by this integration. At the bottom of this page, you will link your administrations. Check the 'Access' box for each administration for which you want to apply the app integration. Then click 'Install' to authorize the app and complete the installation.
You can now return to the app’s detail page to complete any settings or view data.

What do the apps cost?

Most of the apps in the BEX App Store facilitate a connection between BEX PMS and an external service provider. The integration apps themselves are free, but you do pay for the services that you integrate with your PMS.

This means that if you have a contract with an access control partner such as HControl or CAT, the integration app is part of that. For distribution apps that run via Qenner, you discuss the costs with Qenner. For other distribution partners such as Airbnb or Booking.com, you pay a percentage of your income via that platform as commission. It is also possible that you need to take out a subscription, for example for BEX analytics, WAIT, or GreatStay.

If this article does not provide you with sufficient information, look for an app-specific article in the Integrations section of the Help Center, or contact the channel manager or partner company that manages the integration.
