In our App Store, there are two integrations for Airbnb. One is the direct integration between BEX PMS and Airbnb, the other is the Airbnb connection through channel manager Qenner. These are separate connections, and have some differing functionalities. Read this article if you are considering switching from Qenner to the direct Airbnb app.

Costs and prices
Costs and prices assigned to the new Airbnb channel should be checked. For a smooth transition, these settings can be the same as for the Qenner Airbnb channel. If you have set an Airbnb commission cost for Qenner, this cost can be archived.
Existing reservations
If you switch, existing reservations made through Airbnb by Qenner can't be updated, because it is a different channel than the direct Airbnb integration app. To fix this, merge the Qenner Airbnb channel with the new Airbnb channel. The 'old' channel will automatically be archived and its reservations will be moved to the new channel, allowing you to process any changes or cancellations.
From the channels overview, open the Qenner Airbnb channel, and click 'Merge'. Select the new Airbnb channel, and save to move the reservations of the Qenner channel to the new channel.
Conversations
The Conversations module for direct messaging is only available for the direct Airbnb integration, not for Airbnb by Qenner. However, if existing reservations have been transferred as described above, messaging through Conversations will also work for these reservations. When a new message comes in, BEX checks whether the reservation is known and whether a conversation has already been started. If the reservation is recognized, the conversation is created and synchronized.
Auto emails
Airbnb by Qenner forwards all your auto emails to your Airbnb guests. The BEX Airbnb integration does not do so, but we’re working on making this possible in the future. In the meantime, there are other ways to send automated messages to your Airbnb guests.
When setting up administrations in the integration app, you can determine one automated confirmation message in which you can include a Customer Portal link. Other automated messages can be set up in Airbnb directly, and you can use the Conversations module for non-automated messaging.
