Sending reservation confirmation and invoice

When a reservation is created through the back-office channel, a notification appears asking you to confirm the reservation. You confirm by clicking the button 'Confirm and send invoice' in the notification. If your business invoices guests on departure instead of on confirmation, this button will just say 'Confirm'.

'Send by e-mail' versus 'Send manually'

In the next screen, you can choose to send the confirmation message and invoice by e-mail or manually. For the first option, the e-mail address listed is the one previously added to the reservation. Sending an invoice 'manually' means that you can then download and print the invoice to be sent by post or to be handed to the guest directly if they are present at the reception desk. No e-mail will be sent.

Re-sending the reservation confirmation

If the guest informs you that they can’t find their confirmation, you can re-send it. Open the reservation, and click the three dots button in the 'Booking' block. Select 'Resend reservation confirmation'. This will take you to the same page mentioned above, where you can choose how to send the message, and edit any info if needed.
