Guests choosing an object on the map
A map image needs to be set up before guests can choose an object on your park map while booking on your website.
Requirements to make the map available for use
Guests see the option to choose an object on the map for a type when the following are true:
A park map has been properly configured. Read more: Setting up the park map
The setting 'Enable for checkout portal' is on, under Setup > Map.
Enough objects of the type are available on the map for the guest's dates. The minimum is set in administration settings, on the Bookings tab: Minimum number of available objects before "Select on map" is enabled. The default is 2.
The guest is not booking through a promotion link related to a specific owner’s object.
What guests see on the map
Available objects of the booked type are shown as markers. The guest clicks a marker to select that object.
Unavailable objects are greyed out. Blocked objects and objects without a marker are not shown at all.
If preference costs apply, each marker shows the additional price.
If the available objects have differing object-specific amenities, guests can filter the map by amenities.
Preference costs for a chosen object
Choosing an object is free unless you set up preference costs for it.

Good to know
Why don't guests see the map for a type with only one object? The minimum number of available objects is 2 by default. Set it to 1 in the administration settings to still show the map for these types.
Can a guest select the same object for two stays in a group booking? No. An object chosen for one stay is not available for other overlapping stays, even if they’re part of the same group booking.
Is the map available in the back office when it is not enabled for the checkout portal? Yes. If configured, the map is available when making a single reservation in the back office.
Why is an object missing from the guest map? It has no marker, it is blocked, or it belongs to a different type than the one the guest is booking.
