Owner permission: Check the bookings
This owner permission is the only part of the owner profile that, when activated, requires the owner to take action for every guest reservation on their object.
When 'Check the bookings' is selected, the owner will receive an email every time a reservation is made on their object. Via this email, or in the owner portal, the owner has to either accept or reject the reservation. The owner will be able to see the booker data when doing so.
If the owner accepts, the guest will receive a confirmation of their reservation.
If the owner rejects, the backoffice will receive a reception message to say that the reservation has been rejected. Reception employees can then either cancel the reservation or offer this guest an alternative accommodation.
This owner permission becomes a separate available option in your owner profiles after these requirements have been met:
The owner permissions 'Bookings' and 'Booking data' have been selected.
You have contacted support@bookingexperts.com to ensure that this is enabled for your organization.
Because this functionality requires the owner to actively manage their own object and make a decision for every incoming reservation, it is important that it is never mistakenly included in an owner profile. Therefore you also have to contact Booking Experts to enable it.
Assigning owner permissions
Assigning these permissions is only possible through an owner profile. When creating or editing an owner agreement, you can add an owner profile to apply to that owner.
