How to ensure types are bookable online

For any of your types to become available for booking online through your own website, it must meet certain requirements. It must have several photos, be connected to a filled price list, and at least one object must be connected to it. For additional emphasis, use the highlighting priority setting of the type.

1. Photos

Check that the type has multiple photos to show to your guests. Add some even if the objects of this type vary a lot in their looks. The photos that apply to specific objects, can be added directly to the objects themselves.

2. Prices

Check that the type is connected to the correct price list, and that this list has been filled with prices for the dates that you want to sell.

3. Objects

Keep in mind that a type not only needs at least one object, but that these objects also need to have an active object setup to be bookable.

Highlighting priority of a type

Assigning a highlighting priority to a type helps you control the level of additional emphasis this type receives on your website, specifically in the Search & Book. Use the staging environment of your PMS and CMS to check the actual effect of changing the highlighting priority of a type if desired.

  • This is a type setting that can be edited by opening and editing the type itself; find 'Highlighting priority' right above the Rooms & Spaces section in the type settings.

  • The available choices are, in order of least visible to very visible:

    No highlighting

    Basic

    Standard

    Medium

    High

    Top priority
