User roles within BEX PMS and CMS
The user role connected to your account determines how you interact with BEX PMS. You can be an employee working for a single or multi-park organization, an owner who rents out their accommodation, an executor or contractor who performs maintenance or provides services, or even a travel agency booking holidays for your clients. For BEX CMS, there is only one user role.
Note that to be able to log in, your account needs to have a role assigned.
If your account does not have a role, contact the person or business who created your account for you.

It is possible to have more than one role.
For PMS, you need to select one of your roles when you log in. You can always switch roles via your profile dropdown.
If you have both PMS and CMS access, you can switch between the two systems via the 'BEX PMS' and 'BEX CMS' buttons in the black bar at the very top of your screen.
User account for CMS
If you need to work behind the scenes on a BEX CMS website, you have a CMS user role.
A CMS user can have different access rights, depending on what they use the CMS for.
These accounts are created by a CMS manager, with user management rights.

Employee account for PMS
Everyone from receptionist to the general manager has an employee role. Each employee account has a set of access rights, which may vary. These access rights are determined when the employee account is created, by an organization or administration manager.

Owner account
If you have bought a holiday home from an organization that uses Booking Experts, you have likely been invited to create an owner account to access your owner portal. Whether you have access to the owner portal is determined by an employee with owner management rights.

Executor account
Executors are employees who are often on the go and don’t always have a computer nearby. This type of role is only available with the use of the Todo module. An executor account gives access to the Todos app, a mobile friendly page where tasks can be assigned, edited, and marked as finished. An executor account is created by an employee with setup rights.

Contractor account
Contractors are third parties who act as executors, or provide other services to the organization. This type of role is only available with the use of the Todo module. A contractor account gives access to the contractor portal, where an administrator employed by the contractor can manage the assigned tasks and their own executors. A contractor account is created by an employee with setup rights.

Travel agency account
A travel agency account is a special account for independent travel agencies that want to be able to make reservations for their clients without having to go through a holiday park’s public website. These accounts are created by BEX’s customer support department.
