Creating a floor plan for types
You can create a floor plan for any of your types. This floor plan consists of one or more rooms, with one or more amenities in it. This floor plan is not an image, but rather a floor by floor and room by room overview of the available amenities.
Floor plans can now be added to all types. It is no longer required to contact Booking Experts to activate this feature.
Go to your overview of types in the Setup module. Open the type you want to edit, and go to the 'Floor plan' tab.
Click 'New' to add a room to your floor plan.
Selecting a floor from the dropdown is optional. Selecting a room type is required.
Add a specifier in the number / description field if desired; this is useful if you have multiple of the same room types. For example, give each bedroom a number, or specify that the room type 'toilet' is near the entrance.
Use the listed amenity groups to navigate to the amenities you want to add to this room.
Click 'Save room'.
Repeat this for all relevant rooms in the type.
When you are done, all added rooms are visible in the 'Floor plan' tab of the type.
Adding a floor or room type option
If the the available choices of floors or room types needs to be expanded, an organization manager can add options.

Why add a floor plan?
Some channels, such as Booking.com, may require this data for a successful synchronization. It is recommended to add at least one bedroom, which has at least one bed amenity in it.
Booking.com synchronization update
From the start of 2027, all newly added types to be advertised on Booking.com via the integration app need at least one bedroom with at least one bed in it. This also applies to any camping spots that you want to advertise.
Any pre-existing synchronization with Booking.com will not fail, types that are currently being synchronized without a floor plan will keep working as usual.
