Add amenities to a type or object

After amenity groups and amenities have been set up in the organization settings, they can be added to a type and/or object. This is often done when the types and objects are first created, and after amenities change due to an upgrade or refurbishment.

Adding common amenities to a type

Do this if all objects of the type have this same amenity. The amenities linked to a type are often synchronized to channels via integrations.

  • Find and open the relevant type, and click 'Edit'.

  • At the bottom of the page, select the amenities that apply to this type. The amenities are sorted by amenity group.

  • Don’t forget to save your edits.

Adding amenities to a type floor plan

Adding amenities to a floor plan is different from adding amenities directly to the type settings. A floor plan indicates to guests where in the accommodation the amenity can be found, and may be a requirement in the synchronization to OTAs.

  • Find and open the relevant type, and go to the 'Floor plan' tab.

  • Add new rooms or edit existing ones to add or change the listed amenities.

Adding amenities to an individual object

Do this if the amenity is not available for all objects of the type. Object-specific amenities are only visible on your own website, not via any connected channels.

  • Find and open the relevant object, and add amenities to a new or existing setup.

    • Creating a new setup is a good idea if a new amenity will be installed on a known future date, and you want to make sure the online availability of the object correctly reflects this.
