Using Bird for your Todos module

Within BEX PMS, your Bird account is used to send text messages to the executors of your todos. Set up this connection in your administration settings.

Connecting Bird to your administration

  1. Create a Bird account

    Sign up through the Bird website. It is necessary to put money in the account to actually send text messages.

  2. Create an access key

    When setting up your account, activate the SMS API. When that is done, you create an access key for this SMS API. Give the access key a name.

  3. Enter access key into BEX PMS

    Copy the access key, and enter it in the field named 'Bird access key' in the general settings of your administration.

Note that text messages can only be sent if your executors have added their phone number to their profile themselves.
