TradeTracker

TradeTracker conversions should fire only on the final conversion event: purchase. Do not fire the tag on pageviews or intermediate checkout steps.

Match your commission agreement
The transaction amount must match how your TradeTracker agreement defines commission, such as base rent or gross booking value. The default is booking.base_rent_total. If your agreement uses gross booking value, use ecommerce.value instead.

Set-up in GTM

  1. Import the TradeTracker template from the GTM Template Gallery.

  2. Create constant variables: TT - Campaign ID and TT - ProductGroup ID.

  3. Create data layer variables: DLV - ecommerce.transaction_id, DLV - booking.base_rent_total and DLV - ecommerce.currency. Add DLV - ecommerce.coupon if you use voucher codes.

  4. Create the Sales tag with these variables and trigger it on the Custom Event purchase.

  5. Test in GTM Preview and check that each transaction_id records only one conversion.
