Link Cynox sockets to objects

After linking the administration, you’ll see it in the list of administration mappings. The number of card types, number of cards, and number of mapped objects can be clicked to manage the administration’s card types, cards, and objects.

  • Click the blue number for 'objects'. You’ll see a list of all objects in the administration.

  • For each of your objects that has a Cynox socket, select the correct socket from the dropdown or type the socket name. It is important that this is done accurately.

If you do not use Cynox’s Camp-Card solution for access control, you can ignore the lock code setting for your objects.

Switching on and off automatically

By default, all sockets are switched on and off automatically based on the arrival and departure dates of the reservations. However, this feature can be turned off. To do this:

  • Select 'Settings' from the Commands dropdown in the Cynox app page.

  • Deactivate the automatic socket setting.

Your Cynox integration is ready for use! Do regularly check the meter readings to detect any deviations.

Managing sockets

Error message in reception messages

If an error occurs, an error message will be sent to your reception message inbox. This may happen if, for example, a socket does not switch on when it should. Follow up on these error messages quickly to prevent inconvenience for guests.

View Cynox socket data of a reservation

Go to the relevant reservation. In the 'Reservation' block, select 'Cynox: view socket' from the 'Apps' dropdown. On this detail page, you can see all events (on/off switching) of this socket, as well as the power consumption reading and any errors.

Manually switch socket on or off

Go to the relevant reservation. In the 'Reservation' block, select 'Cynox: view socket' from the 'Apps' dropdown. There’s a button you can use to manually switch the socket on or off.

All switch events in one overview

Select 'Events' from the Commands dropdown in the Cynox app page.
The list shows all activity of every socket in all connected administrations. By default, the overview shows a date and time, the linked object, the device (socket), the event state and any details.
