Inventory management in cost items

Costs for items that are limited in number can be set up for stock control, so these costs can no longer be added to a reservation once stock has run out. You'll also receive a reception message when inventory runs out.

Note that this is only available for cost items that are selectable by the guest, and also have a calculation method that is either 'per piece', 'per piece per day', or 'per stay'.

Setting up stock control

In the price section of the cost settings, enter the amount of items you have in stock. The system will keep track of how many are claimed when, based on the reservation arrival and departure dates.

Check the box to make this item unavailable when stock has run out. This applies when all stock items have already been claimed on the reservation stay dates.

It is also possible to keep selling this item, just leave the checkbox unchecked. In that case, you will receive a reception message letting you know when you will need to increase your stock for this item.

Indicate a maximum number of items per reservation, if desired. To prevent a single reservation claiming too much of your stock, it is possible to add a maximum.
