Managing security deposits

Within the reservations module, you can track which security deposits are blocked, late, or released. In order to use this management view, security deposit policies need to be in place.

Go to 'Security deposits' in the Reservations module.

  • The different tabs show your security deposits in various stages, for ease of management. For example, all blocked deposits will need to claimed manually after the related booking has checked out, and it is possible to add a new damage report to any secured deposit.

  • Click a security deposit name to access its detail page. Within this detail page, you can add a damage report, claim the damage report amount, waive the deposit, or manually release it — depending on the state of the related booking and the deposit itself.
