Creating an amenity
Add an amenity to one of your amenity groups, and edit it to suit your needs. Choose how OTA's should classify this amenity, whether you want it to be included in the filter options in the Search & Book, and what type of amenity it is.
Go to 'Amenities' in the organization settings of your PMS. Either click '+New' to add a new amenity directly, or first open the relevant amenity group and add a new amenity there.
Enter an appropriate name for your amenity.
Select the most suitable option that channels (OTAs) can classify this amenity under.
Select the correct amenity group.
Select the type of amenity, i.e. what answer types should be available.
Yes/No: these amenities are either present, or not present.
Numerical: When adding this amenity to a type or object, you have to enter the number of this amenity that is present. The amenity could be 'bedrooms', and each time you add it to a type or object you have to indicate how many bedrooms there are.
Multiple choice: Enter multiple options that represent variations of this amenity. When adding this amenity to a type or object, you have to select the correct option. The amenity could be 'sofa', and each time you add it to a type or object you have to indicate whether it is a 'two-seater' or a 'three-seater'.
Activate the checkbox 'Filterable' if you want this amenity to become a filter option in your Search & Book. If not, this amenity will only be displayed on the relevant type page.
It is recommended to not make every amenity a filter option in your Search & Book, but only those that are popular and/or unique to only some of your types.
From the overview of all amenities, you can select multiple amenities at the same time to change this setting.
Add amenities to types, objects or an administration
The next step is to link your amenities to a type, an object, or an administration.

Deleting an amenity
An outdated amenity can be deleted. If it is still connected to type, object, or reservation, a notification will appear. If you choose to delete regardless, the amenity will be removed from the type and/or object.
