Cloudpass: installation & settings
CloudPass is a leading cloud-based access control solution in the UK. This integration bridges the gap between BEX PMS and your high-traffic site security.

How to install the app?
Go to the 'Available apps' index, and use the search bar to find the Cloudpass app. Click the 'Install app' button.

Now, you can start completing the settings.
Complete the settings
First, you need to connect your Cloudpass account. Then, connect your administrations to the correct Cloudpass sites. Once that is done, your Cloudpass integration is ready for use!
Connect Cloudpass account
In the 'Commands' dropdown, select 'Cloudpass account'. Enter your Cloudpass Client ID and Client secret here, which are your login credentials. Then click 'save'.
The CloudPass installer/supplier will provide you with a client ID and client secret. These credentials are associated with an "API User account" accessible via your CloudPass website's "Settings" tab, specifically under the "Website Users" section. If you encounter permission errors, we advise you to verify that the API user permissions on the CloudPass website are correctly configured.
Connecting administrations
In the 'Commands' dropdown, select 'Administration connections'.
At the top, first select a default time restriction. These time restrictions are defined in Cloudpass, and the default you select will be applied to the access for all new bookings synchronized from BEX PMS into Cloudpass.
You’ll also see a list of your BEX PMS administrations. For each of them, select the corresponding Cloudpass site from the dropdown.
Settings and synchronization of vehicle access
In the 'Commands' dropdown, select 'Bookings for vehicles'.
Whenever a new reservation is confirmed in BEX PMS, and license plate information has been added, a new 'vehicle booking' will be created in Cloudpass, for each of the added license plates.
By default, the vehicle access will be valid from the administration check-in time to the administration check-out time, with a 30-minute window on either side.
If you have just started using the integration or want to make sure a recently edited reservation is synchronized correctly, click the 'Sync' button in the top right. This will re-synchronize all bookings with an arrival date in the next five days.
