Facilities in the CMS

Facilities on your CMS website let your guests know what they can do in your park and your surrounding area. Think, for example, of a swimming pool your guests can enjoy or a theme park nearby.

Create and edit facilities

To create and edit facilities, click on 'Facilities' in the CMS main menu to the left. Click on the three dots next to an already existing facility to edit it. If you want to create a new one, click on '+New' in the top right corner.

Publication dates

With the publication dates, you decide when a facility goes live and for how long. Leaving the 'publication date' empty means the facility won't be shown at all. Leaving the 'Publish until' field empty means the facility will be shown indefinitely.

Descriptions

Under the name, you can enter a plain-text description to be shown for the facility.
If you want to use rich-text instead, enter a description in the HTML description field.
If the HTML description field is filled, this overwrites the plain-text description.

Adding a link

You can either hide the link to not link to anything, link to the detail page of the facility, or link to an external URL of your choice.

Facility detail page

A details page is automatically created for the facility. After saving your facility, click 'View page' in the top right corner to see it. This page can also be found via the main 'Pages' menu. This page can be edited like any other page.

Label

Add a label to easily select related facilities to show via a widget.

Images

After saving a facility, you can add photos in the 'Images' tab.

  • Provide the images with additional tags and/or fill the banner settings to create more functionality and online visibility.

Reordering facilities

Go to the index page of your CMS facilities and use the 'Reorder list' button to change the order of the facilities as shown on your website.

The order of facilities is independent of any labels that may have been added; the purpose of facility labels is to easily show a particular selection of facilities via a widget.

Disable and delete facilities

  • To delete a facility: Click on the three dots and then on 'Delete'. The corresponding details page is then also deleted, this page cannot be deleted separately.

Create a redirect if you delete your facility: this will guide a website visitor to another page instead of them receiving a 404 error message when they click a link that leads to the recently deleted page.

  • To temporarily take a facility off your website: Edit the facility and remove the publication date so that the field is empty. Put in a new date when you want your facility to be live again.
